Our Little Taste of Winter

Dear readers,

Brrrrrrrr. We finally have our first little taste of winter. Its been in the 40's all day with light to heavy rain. The same is expected tomorrow.

One of the things I enjoy about winter the most is a fire in the fireplace. You don't get to do that a lot here in Bryan and College Station. I'm working my way through my cord of wood. There is something satisfying about sitting with my back to a warm fire, and I'm appreciating it more and more as I age.

It'll probably be back in the 80s next week.

Blue skies,

Sam White

Sam, I'm from Texas and I remember well the cold weather and the hot weather. We just had our turn to the colder weather here in Redding, and I like you enjoy staying by the fire and reading a good book. Enjoy!

Hi Sam, It's wonderful isn't it? I could take at least another week of staying inside by the FP (Realtor lingo) and keeping my feet warm. I hope you and yours had a great Thanksgiving! We just about share the same weather. I'm in Huntsville. Stay warm and safe. Deb
